These cells are literally frozen to death making them unable to function or regenerate. No. CoolSculpting is non-invasive meaning it does not involve the use of any instruments entering the body. The applicator is applied to the surface of the treated area. You may feel the applicator’s cooling effects, but this usually subsides within minutes as the area numbs. Many patients choose to read, check their phones and even sleep during the procedure.
