Plastic Surgery Procedures Performed by Prakash J. Mathew, MD, MBA, FACS, FCPP

Dr. Mathew offers a comprehensive range of body and breast plastic surgery procedures at the Artemedica Santa Rosa Plastic Surgery Center, including:

Breast Augmentation

Dr. Mathew offers multiple approaches to breast augmentation, including traditional implants and fat grafting, to help patients achieve their desired breast size, volume, and symmetry. His expertise also extends to highly specialized techniques, including Resensation®, a nerve-reconstruction procedure designed to restore sensation and nerve function following nipple-sparing mastectomy. Dr. Mathew is among a select number of surgeons nationwide trained to perform this procedure.

Whether you’re considering breast implants or a fat grafting procedure, Dr. Mathew takes an individualized approach to surgical planning. He’ll help you understand your options, identify the techniques best suited to your goals, and develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Breast Lift

A breast lift requires careful reshaping and repositioning of breast tissue to create balanced and proportionate results. Dr. Mathew draws on his extensive experience in microsurgery to restore a firmer, more elevated breast shape. His advanced training informs how he plans and performs each procedure, particularly when working with delicate nerves and surrounding tissue.

Dr. Mathew approaches every breast lift with exceptional precision, taking into account each patient’s unique anatomy and desired outcome.

Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

Pregnancy, weight loss, and aging can leave behind loose abdominal skin and changes in your body and muscle strength that are difficult to address through diet and exercise alone. Dr. Mathew offers tummy tuck surgery to remove excess skin, repair separated abdominal muscles, and create a firmer, more defined midsection.

His approach to every tummy tuck procedure considers the relationship between skin laxity, muscle separation, and overall body proportions. By addressing these factors together, Dr. Mathew develops a surgical plan designed to deliver smooth, natural-looking results that enhance your body’s overall silhouette and help you feel more confident in your figure.

Liposuction

For patients looking to refine specific areas of their figure, Dr. Mathew offers liposuction to remove stubborn pockets of fat and refine your body’s natural contours in the abdomen, waist, arms, or back. He carefully tailors each procedure to your anatomy and aesthetic goals, creating a slimmer, more defined silhouette that still looks natural and proportionate. During your consultation, Dr. Mathew will listen closely to your concerns and help you determine whether liposuction is the right approach for your needs and situation.
