Lip fillers injected by a highly trained and trusted provider are among the quickest and safest approaches to fuller smoother lips. These treatments are minimally invasive, quick, and easy.
All lip filler injection treatments are customized for you in order to best achieve your desired results.
What They Are
Lip fillers are an injectable gel made from a substance called Hyaluronic Acid (HA). HA is a naturally produced substance already found in your own skin that works to maintain the structure and volume of your skin.
What They Do
Lip fillers improve the appearance of your lips by amplifying & defining
- Volume
- Shape
- Structure
In doing so, patients can achieve plumper fuller lips and soften fine lines on lips.
How Long They Last
The effects of lip fillers generally last between 6 and 12 months. After that more injections are necessary to maintain desired volume and shape.

Which lip filler is best for you should be decided based on your desired outcome. Dr. Victor Lacombe and Dr. Alice Chiang fully understands the subtle characteristics of each and every HA lip filler and will be able to help determine which lip filler would work best for your individual needs.
Candidates for Lip Fillers
You may be a candidate for HA lip fillers if you desire larger, fuller lips or would like to smooth out fine lines in your lips. You may also be a candidate if you have fine lines around your mouth and cheek area that you would like to appear smoother.
What Patients Can Expect
Injections of Hyaluronic Acid lip fillers are performed in office by a skilled and certified physician. Prior to injections, local anesthesia may be used to ease discomfort but the overall pain is minimal. The HA gel will then be injected gently under the skin and the lips will experience an immediate increase in smoothness and volume. Generally, the procedure typically takes 15-30 minutes depending on desired results.
Once the procedure is completed, you will be able to continue with your day as usual. There is very little recovery involved. Patients may experience mild side effects that include bruising, redness, or soreness and may last around 3-7 days. Ice packs may be used to reduce any swelling and pain.
